The setting was dark, bio illuminescent mushrooms lit the tunnel enough for me and my partner pagumon to see in the darkness.
Pagumon: Why are we here again jagged?
Pagumon said in na irritated tone
Jagged: It's so you can become stronget, the digital world is a tough place and in order to survive I need you to be as strong as possible so we're here searching for a battle.

 A small form appears out of nowhere. It gives you a friendly smile as it seemingly floats on nothingness. Maybe it is those big ears that keep it aloft. "Hiya, I'm Calumon! Your exploring now huh. "Great," Calumon exclaimed and began concentrating. Suddenly a soft footstep could be heard coming from the tunnel. It didn't take long for the small purple digimon to come into sight. It was another pagumon! It gave a devilish smirk s it sized up the opponent. This would definitely be a fun battle. One of its ears motioned for you to come at it.
"Seems like he's taunting you," Calumon's ears shrank as it continued to float. It moved off to one side to give them room. "Dark digimon are scary.
There is always five different things you can do in battle.
Attack - A simple attack that does 1/8 recoil back. Special Move - Like blowing bubbles but it cost AP so keep a close eye. Defend - Lessens the maximum damage by 1/2. Item - You can use items in battle to help your digimon....though it doesn't seem like you have any. Flee - run from the battle."  | | | | Lvl 1 | | Lvl 1 | Pagumon

Jagged : hmm another dark digimon, be careful pagumon don't die on your first battle.
Pagumon: Don't worry geez, I got this just sit back and watch.
Pagumon inhaled deeply, exhaling a trail of poisonous bubbles at both of the other pagumons.

The pagumon yelped as dozens of bubbles began popping all around it. Blisters starting to form all over its body. It growled as the bubbles slowly stopped. It decided to return the favor it blew dozens of bubbles. It gave far worse than it got. No doubt your Pagumon was going to feel that for a long while. | | | | Lvl 1 | | Lvl 1 | Pagumon

Pagumon: ow-ouch, this isn't looking good, I'll have to give it my all. Inhaling another breath pagumon once again exhaled a string of poisonous bubbles, hoping that it would end the other pagumon quickly.

Some of the pagumons previous welts began to burst open coating its sides in blood. It let out a faint growl. It seemed to get more angry with each attack. It took a defensive stance its ears coming in front of its face. It glared through the opening at them with beady red eyes. | | | | Lvl 1<Defend> | | Lvl 1 | Pagumon

Pagumon : Don't you think I know that, watch me tAke him down!
Pagumon lunged forward in a head but that connects with the other defending pagumon.

The pagumons ear catches the brunt of it leaving no more than a scratch. It smirks as the attack falls a little flat its ear slapping out to also do minor damage. It then rushes forward following your pagumon. It slams itself decently into your digimon. It seems its defense was little more than a trick. | | | | Lvl 1 | | Lvl 1 | Pagumon

Jagged : Alright it looks ready to croak, give him one more and finish this so we can go back to some real training.
Pagumon : geez I'm putting my life on the line and all you can think about is training. Just wait there I'll be back in a second.
With that said pagumon delivers another headbutt.

With that last hit the pagumon fainted. Just enough damage having been dealt to it for it fall flat and unmoving. The calumon smiled and went over to it glowing slightly. Suddenly the pagumon was awake and healed of its wounds. It fled back down the hall leaving them alone.
"You were amazing," Calumon said twirling around and in its hands was suddenly a scarf. "As promised a prize. it's not much but it should prove useful for awhile. Good luck!" Calumon suddenly it disappeared just as quickly as it had arrived.
