"Yo Shoutmon here to give you the low down on Xros. Xrosing is a special type of evolution that combines two compatible digimon into one strong digimon. Take Ballistamon and myself for example."

"Xrosing isn't permanent mind you and Xrosing does not heal your digimon. Also the xrosed digimon still takes up the spaces on your team they occupied so after xrosing together you can't call out another digimon on the field to take ones place.
"Xrosing is not digivolving. That is why it is not permanent and is not shown in your dex entries."Wikimon DigiXros

Jogress
Many digimon can jogress together to create new digimon. It is not shown what evolutions jogress in your dex for a reason. Jogressing requires quests!
When requesting a evolution if the form is obtained normally through jogress then you are given a chance to quest for the evolution. On this quest you will find the digimon yous needs to jogress with and you must create a connection with it. This is only step one.
The second step is the actual evolution. Only one mind can come out on top. If the two digimon can not get along or agree then the evolution will fail and both will revert to their rookie or lesser form for a brief time. This will end the quest and result in a failure.
You can attempt Jogress as many times as you like.
Burst and Awakened
Like Xrosing these are not evolutions. They are powered up versions of a digimon. Burst and Awakened forms double the current stats for three turns. Afterwards it can not be used again. It takes too much energy to maintain and any more than three turns will result in death.

Slide EvolutionSlide evolutions are unlocked after reaching your first set. Sets are 100 levels! After a complete set your digimon can be reset to their original in-training form. From there you can pursue another line as desired. However the other evolution line doesn't disappear. It is maintained as data memory meaning your digimon can slide evolve into a previously unlocked form. EXAMPLE:
SET 1: Koromon > Agumon > Greymon > Metal Greymon > War Greymon > Omnimon SET 2: Koromon > Guilmon > Growmon > Megalogrowmon Your digimon can slide evolve between Metal Greymon and Megalogrowmon. Their moves for that evolution will be replaced by the other one. The stats get reset and the type bonuses get halfed. Meaning your +30 to defense doesn't disappear rather it is maintained and lessened to +15 it makes the leveling process easier. However to prevent overpowering each stat is capped at +50 from type bonuses.

"My name is Gold Numemon. That's queen Numemon to you. I am one of many special digimon; special digimon that don't stop growing. Other prime examples of this are Whamon and Gigantic Numemon. See the older we get the larger and stronger we get. Because of that we can become on par to ultimate digimon. So I am here to tell you about ranking us special digimon up from adults. Requirement: LVL: 50 "You can go visit that annoying Gawappamon to rank us up."
